R50/53 samco intake hose

My alta hose had terrible fitment, and this was mounted to their alta intake box too! Needed PLENTY of trimming just to fit so it wasnt cocked on the throttle body and intake box. Also the nipple in the middle for some vacuum hose that runs behind the cylinder head did not line up at all. The nipple came off the intake hose almost 45 degrees off from where the intake hose sat.
I dont have any experience of the samco but Ive heard a lot of gripes about the alta hose so cant recommend it.

I disagree with cargod, DO IT. best 75$ youll spend! instant 5 hp, easy.
i have the samco. its basically the same thing, only cheaper, and slightly LONGER, so if you have a stock airbox, just trim that end. aftermarket airbox, and its already long enough for you!
ppl sell them here for way cheap, got mine for like $50... keep an eye out id say!

The Samco hose fits...the Alta one will not. Also the Alta silicone will get rock hard after a year in the engine bay. Go Samco. Great fit and finish and a lot more colors! We stock Red, Blue, and Black all the time, but also have White, BRG Green, Lime Green, and Orange. You can see all of them on our web site. Ours also comes with clamps!
