OEM Brake Pad "Take-off" NEEDED

HELP .. my right rear inside brake pad managed to somehow free its clips from the caliper piston. As a result, at only 5x,xxx miles the right rear inside pad has worn out!

does anyone have a set of rear pad, OEM take-offs, kicking around there shop? The rest of the pads and rotors are all perfect and i hate to do a full rear brake job already.

Hoping to scare up a donor willing to drop a still good set of rear OEM take offs in the mail to me for the cost of postage??

can anyone help a lady out?? THANK YOU!!

at 'only' 50,000 miles plus . . . or is there a piece here you're not telling us cuz at 50,000 miles it is hard to believe that MINI OEM pads and rotors are 'perfect'

I'm generally considered a nanny driver but even I needed new rears by that time (and fronts b4)

you don't necessar'ly need a "full brake job", just do pads on the rear if the rotors are clean and still thick enuf.

I'm in a generous mood today: I have a brand new, in the box, never used, GEN1 rear set of DURALAST pads sitting in my parts drawer collecting dust. Bought the pads for my 02 but sold the car b4 I put 'em on. You can have 'em for the same deal - postage (priority flat rate box)

p.m. me a snail mail address if you want 'em - obviously you'll need to find someone to put 'em on.

Thx for the great offer!!! I just purchased a pair of OEM pads for the back breaks. :(

As for the necessity of the pads... I'm the second owner of this mini so the 1st owner may have very well replaced the breakpads. I'll have to take a look at the maintenance records I have.

I appreciate the response.
