Headlight Add-A-Circuit and Tach Screw Sizes
Hey Guys,
So I just got done installing a Prosport Boost Gauge and it works perfectly except for that it flickers between amber and white when you turn the headlights on. Many people have had this problem and its due to the wire being to small to power it. I can not find any fuses that are off when the headlights are, and pushing 12v when they are. Has anybody found a fuse like this, I hate electrical wiring.....
Also I somehow lost the two screws that hold the tachometer to the column does anybody know the size of the torx bolt with washer in this diagram #4 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...62&fg=05&hl=27
Thanks and Happy Motoring!!

See if it helps if you set your dash lights to maximum brightness.
The exterior lights are on fuses FL8 and FL12 in the engine compartment fusebox. They are 50 amps each and you won't find an Add-A-Circuit for it. I suppose you could run a wire from a parking or wheel arch light and run it into the cabin. Otherwise use the line you're using now to operate a relay that is connected to full 12V.
For the screws, I would go to a MINI dealer parts/service department.
