These are also posted on page 78 of the Gallery.

I know there has been a lot of speculation and a lot of quetions about the Anthracite inteior. Well, if you have more questions after these photos let me know and I'll take more pictures to address questions.

I took delivery at around 11am this morning so these are all snapshots off of digital.

Me at my house:

2003 MINI Cooper S - brilliant silver / black w/ black racing stripes at the infamous field of corn outdoor art exhibit:

Anthracite Interior:

And there ya have it.

So far so good - time to post my dealer feedback in the feedback area - man, Midwestern Auto Group in Dublin, OH and the salesperson I've dealt with (Chad Simkins) certainly did EVERYTHING right for me. I am a happy motorer at this point.

What a beauty, Dave! Great pics, especially of the Anthracite interior, which is very nice! How do you like the Anthracite? It matches the dash very well.

As for the "art" exhibit -- are those supposed to be corn dogs?

Thanks for the pictures. It looks great! To me, the MINI has more than enough interior texture to not need an excessive amount of contrast. Can't wait for mine!

I have a question for you Dave!
Are those gray leather seats an S only option, or is it part of the anthracite package?
I've never seen it before!
oh, and MSFT????

Very nice. I also ordered the anthracite (sight unseen) so I'm glad to see that it looks O.K.

Are those black interior door panels, or gray?

The anthracite looks real nice. Now I kinda wish I ordered it for my car. I love the way it looks on the doors. Oh well, I's not like I'm not going to be 100% happy with my mini anyway.

Black interior door panels.

They are actually the standard black leather sport seats for the S... just happened to look a bit more gray than black in the afternoon light.

Believe it oir not each of the individual totems of corn are actually unique. Suppossedly no two of them are the same - bizarre, but fun to drive by and laugh at.

So, first night we have just about an even 100 miles on the car. One of the neighbors and my wife have already driven it. I've made two more people happy motorers today - mission accomplished.

Why? Is the car gonna melt at the hands of someone else?

I think it's fun to see my wife in the Ferrari with my little boy strapped into the child seat that just wedges into the passenger seat. (no airbag - it's an '87... no airbag, no power steering, no ABS, etc.)

I couldn't imagine a car I'd own that she wouldn't drive.

Congratulations, Dave! I feel bad for the poor Ferrari; it's going to wonder what it did to suddenly feel so neglected...

Nice photos........UK antracite was appreciably darker overall tone.....must have thinned it out for US or from UK owner comments, although I thought it looked sharp...........My opinion is SILVER will be easier to maintain, easier on the eyes, and owner will not get as "tired" of it......more classic.....interior is over the top and off the hook..... anyway with color options on dash facia...............

Very, very, very nice. However, you are mad to let any woman drive it.

The MSFT ticker symbol plate would not be the reason you have a Ferrari would it
