I have owned a LY/B for a year and a half and still love it. It will get some looks, but if you want to be anonymous get a Saturn.

No, it is not a brilliant yellow. My favorite yellow is a Ferrari Fly yellow, and I don't like the MINI yellow because it is not bright enough!
Are you going through Dreyer & Reinbold? Who is your MA?
Cheers!

Truth be told? Not loud enough.

I wanted a 'speeding ticket red', but didn't want the speeding tickets. The yellow is nice, but it is a tad subdued.

My advice, get what YOU want. You drive it. You look good in it. You experience it.

And, BTW, the yellow has grown on me tremendously...

I have owned two yellow cars in the past. A Honda CRX and a Toyota MRS Spyder. I have to echo some of the other responses. It is a color that will get a lot of attention. It stays clean and it will look better with a few waxings. I love the contrasting black details that the mini has as well. I feel very tranparent in my all black Mini (though she is beatiful when clean) compared to the yellow cars. I hope you get it and enjoy it. Have fun!!
