Problems with my 05 MCSa

About three days ago, I drove home and when go there, put the car in park, and I had the "ABS" and traction control light turn on simultaneously. Nothing felt wrong with the car at idol, so I just left in the garage and went to bed. Next morning, I turned the car back on and the lights came back on, but before I drove it to the end of the driveway, both lights went off. The car drove fine the next two days, but today we had A LOT of rain and had to do some puddle hopping. Each time I had to cross a flooded part of the road, I shifted the car into M1 and preceded cautiously (between 10-15 mph) through the flooded parts (6-12 inches of water). I got through my 20 mile drive without a hitch until the last puddle when my EML and Service lights both came on and I had an immediate loss in power. Luckily, I was at a gas station less than a mile from my house and just pulled over and left the car in the lot because I was in fear that I possible hydrolocked the engine (I've heard horror stories about this before). I have read a little about the EML light and found that when it kicks on that the car will revert to limp mode. Also, my whole 20 mile trip, I had the ABS and traction control lights on, but when I was driving on the wet roads, I could feel the traction control working. My first feeling was that it was a computer issue and I just need an update or a sensor replaced... Going to go to Autozone and have them run the code for me to see what's up. Want to see what you guys think because it seems the EML is a common thing... What really has me confused is the ABS light... My dashboard looks like a Christmas tree with all the different lights lit up. I have not done any mods of any kind to this car. Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

Also, I am one of the MCSa that had to deal with the transmission issue found here:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ed-at-80k.html

but I have long fixed this issue, although this problem still trips out my traction control light occasionally.

Your issues sounds like the typical Trifecta lights that happen when an ABS wheel speed sensor is going bad or is bad. Maybe the one of the sensors is lose or disconnected. There are many threads on this if you do a search.

Went down and started the car up and it ran perfectly fine and all the lights went off... Thanks for your response and sorry that I didn't search first... I was just anticipating the worse and really didin't know what to search for.

No need to be sorry. I know sometimes it is hard to use the search on here as you will get lots of threads to weed thru to find what you need. Glad it all worked out for you.
