Hey guys I just purchased my 17% pulley from WMW. They are a great group of people, they called me when I was ordering to give me more info on what they thought I should get, and offered me a discount!!

I got my pulley in the mail and I want to install it today. The pulley is two pieces and I have four bolts to connect the two pieces. On the larger piece, the actual pulley, only two of the holes are tapped! However on the smaller ID piece all for holes are tapped. Is this right?? I can post a pic if you would like it.

WMW is closed today and I would like some confirmation before I get that deep into the MINI to find I am missing machining on the part I received.

You should have 6 holes in the pulley half, 4 thru holes and 2 tapped holes. The thru holes mate to the 4 tapped holes in the locking collar and the 2 tapped holes are used to jack the 2 halves apart for removal.

 

Thanks for the help!! I got the pulley installed and everything seems good. Only issue is my "engine light" is now displayed.
