JCW Strut Bar Question

Hope this isn't a stupid question.
But was wondering if I needed washers to bolt down my strut bar on my 06 S.
The reason I ask this is that the bolts don't come all the way through the nuts.
And if I do need to use the washers where should they go? Under the bracket or on top? As they are now, they're under the bracket.
Thanks!

If you're using the old nuts which are flanged, then no washers are needed. If you're using nuts that aren't flanged then the washers should go between the nut and the bracket.
