Hi guys,

I posted a while ago as this link.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ant-smell.html

After like 4 months, there is no coolant leak( I mean level of coolant hasn't been changed at all nor never had over heat issues)
There is no coolant drop or level changes, so I guess there is no coolant leak.

However, I still smell that sweet coolant. (like I drove 20miles and park and after 10 or 20min. when I start engine, I can smell it(sweet))
or while I drive sometimes I can smell it.

I checked heater core and there is no coolant drop at all.

What do you guys think?

Coolant....
You can have the vent cap release pressure.... And not be leaking coolant.

That's all I can think of as well. The stock cap is known to vent some on top of the reservoir, leaving a film on it. I have a Forge tank with the stock cap and it's hard to keep it clean at times because of it. Since it's only vapor, the level won't be affected.

There's not a lot of things that can smell like coolant. If there isn't a leaks, I wouldn't be too concerned.

As others stated, coolant. You could have a very small leak in the heater core, that would be enough to produce a strong smell. Happened to me..

small leak on the overflow tank dripping to the heat guard below

feel around to the back side of the tank at the seam and look for signs of cooked off coolant on the heat shield

Are you the first owner? Maybe someone spilled cola in the vent before you got it? Weird...

Beehive? Nah, must be venting coolant at the reservoir tank.
