(this is totally my karma for posting about suv's after haveing not posted in months)
Help!!!!!!
Last friday, while trying to escape NY for the holiday weekend I got a flat! Checked the pressure, absolutely no psi on my runflat, so I switched to the spare, drove home and the car has been parked in front of my apartment ever since.
Today I was aiming to take it to the dealer to get fixed. But MY KEY WON'T UNLOCK THE CAR!! I've tried my spare key as well, but nothing is happening!!!! The only thing I can do is manually unlock the drivers side door. BUT THE CAR WILL NOT START!!!!!! Nothing! No windows, no radio, no engine!
Is my battery dead? That's all I can think of, but there has been absolutely no indication as to why the battery would be dead(lights have been off, all doors shut etc.).
Does anybody have any idea what is going on? I'd like to avoid calling roadside assistance, since I am sure they'll take me to MINI of Manhattan and that is the last place I want to go .
suggestions...help...anyone...

Also check for a loose battery connection - if you have a Cooper you can check under the hood. For the MCS, I hope you have an emergency release under your rear seats, to get at the battery in the trunk.
Is your indicator in the left or right position instead of central? That would turn on the "parking lights" on one side of the car, which would drain the battery over a few days ...
Sorry to hear your problem - hope it is fixed soon.

Call MINI roadside assistance and have them jump start the car. If the car still doesn't turn then they have to tow it to your MINI dealer of choice within a 50 mile radius.
It sounds like it is a dead battery or your BCM computer module could also be faulty. Either way, don't try to diagnose it by yourself.

Sounds like a dead battery or bad battery connection.
I left my lights on once and got the same deal.
Pop the hood and call roadside assistance or AAA and get a jump start and quick charge then drive the MINI for about 20-30 minutes to slow charge the battery.
Sometimes the interior light was left on by accident or a door was ajar or something.
Your MINI is not dead. It's just sleeping late. Wake it up.

MINIs have an interior light time-out delay and battery rundown protection time-out feature in case you either leave the interior lights or your headlights on for a long period of time. Not to be confused with the "Follow me home lights" feature.
