R53 Throwing P0136

Getting this code in my mini with 98K on it. Runs awesome so not too concerned as this seems to refer to the post-cat O2 sensor failing. I searched it and there isn't a consensus I can find between programming, wiring or the actual sensor replacement itself. Can anyone who's fixed the code offer a bit of insight? My fuel mileage is around 23mpg and that's with some spirited driving. Exhaust tips are pretty dirty so i may be running a bit rich. Appreciate any insight!

Love this site, thanks to this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...0136-code.html

I called my mini dealer and found out that pulling this code is under warranty for the next 1,500 miles! I'm dropping it off Thursday night for mini to take care of.
