HELP!!!!! R53 Wont start
Someone please help,
Two weeks ago I was driving my car to get ice-cream, starts right up no problem. After ice-cream I go back home, Starts right up again no problem.
Now, I go leave my house again about one hour after that, and my MINI won't start. I put the key in and turn it turns over, all my gauges work, my stereo works just fine, windows and wipers work etc…
But when I turn the key to start the motor, nothing happens…
Literally nothing happens no "clicking" sounds or "beeps" just turns and that's it.
I ended up getting my battery tested (it was bad) so I replaced it with a brand new one and…. It's doing the same damn thing. Lights and gauges work, turn the key, NOTHING…
Any thoughts on what else it could be? Has anyone had a similar issue? Are there known problems for the starter going bad, or an ignition switch going out?
Someone please help me, I have a sick MINI addiction and want to drive my car.. I have a 06' MCS with 68,000 miles by the way...

Maybe your MINI is upset you only got ice cream for yourself...
On a serious note though, who replaced your battery? A shop should have performed a battery/starter test before releasing your car. It is not unheard of for the starter to call it quits around the time you catch a battery failure.
