There are other threads on this, but I can't find them right now. If it gets on a K-Line or that other one, I don't think there is currently a way to track. Some others may post some more useful information since I don't think everyone in this thread has come home on a WW ship.

1-866-ask-mini stated it was scheduled for production the 2nd week of Sept, takes one week in production and should be ready Sept 11, than another 4 -6 weeks shipping to the USA and to Upstate NY dealer, ie, mid to end of Oct for pickup.

Just heard from my MA:
Katie is at the VPC (probably along with all of the other Patriot MINIs). He didn't know how long it would be until they filled up a truck to send this way, but he guessed not long.

Del, I'm crossing my fingers, but not expecting too much - he said it's possible that they could be in MN by month end.

I'm assuming he'll call me again when they leave the VPC.

 

Who is going to be first to show us their "Mini"??

Hey Sirius, I'm loaded on the Freedom also. Is your car heading to Mini of Nashville? That's were I'm picking mine up. Who knows maybe our cars will be arriving at the dealership at the same time.

 

Today is Amy's day off, but will give her a call tomorrow, maybe more informtion by then.

The problem with MINI's is that it takes more of them to fill the truck. It would be fun to pick them up at the same time.

 

For those of us whose cars will be coming to the east coast, what determines if a car comes into Charleston or New York? Illinois is fairly north, so would NY be a good bet?

 

The order confirmation I received from my dealer had my port listed. Mine is coming to Indianapolis through Charleston, if that is of any help!

 

Small World! Yes, my MC is headed to Mini of Nashville. I can't wait to see it in person! Maybe I'll catch a glimpse of your HB MCS.

 

My MA told me BMW is using Charleston for some of the cars because of heavy traffic through NJ, but others on this thread didn't think that was completely accurate. 2005LY and I have cars being processed in Charleston as we speak.

 

Thanks Del. Mike on another forum said mid-west destinations go through Charleston. There are ships leaving for NY sooner than the next ones bound for Charleston. Oh well, it will get here eventually.
