Hey all,
I have recently pulled an error code from my r53 and cant seem to get an answer as to what it is as it isn't a p code.
I went through the system manually to find it.

Any help would be amazing. It has to relate to something right?
Ive tried to find an affordable scanner that will work with the r53 and so far no luck. Any canadian options that wont break the bank?
You can get the cheap wifi / bluetooth (bluetooth only works on Android) OBD scanners that can work with your phone off of Amazon for cheap. I'm not sure about Canada, but try calling around to different auto parts stores or some shops and ask if they can pull a code for free. It only takes a couple of minutes, if that, so someone should be able to do it for you.
Edit: Looks like maybe Aamco in Canada will do it for you.

Alright ill look into aamco. Do you know which wifi obd prog supports mini?
I really believe my throttle positioning control is frozen. It has not been running very good at low RPM in this bitter cold but ran fine at highway speeds. All this just this morning when it went into limp mode. P1639 throttle position valve stuck permanently P0120 throttle / pedal position sensor / switch A circuit malfunction P1638 throttle stuck. It's been 10 to 15 below 0 every night and only getting into single digits during the day. Mini has a pretty lousy design for these.
