Quick question on Amp install

So I have done some extensive research on here, but just wanted to have a few of my answers clarified before i finish up my install.

To start off, i have a '06 MCS w/ the non-HK system.

So my main question is the line out converter. Can i just tap into the rear speakers with the LOC, then run the rca cables to the amp from there? Or does the front head unit need to be tapped in?

Also, I have heard much debate about where to tap the power-on signal wire...So whats the general consensus on that? rear 12v cigarette lighter?

Finally, i will be adding a base ****, and was wondering thoughts on installing it on one of my blank spaces on my **** panel?

Thanks for reading, i appreciate all of your help!

What head unit are you using? What are you using the amp to run?

I used to install mobile electronics before I was in the military. You can use a LOC and tap into the rear speaker wires. There will be no issue with it. I actually recently did a stereo upgrade in my MCS (head unit, amp and sub. I also put in a bass **** in the one empty spot on the switch panel. I can get a pic if you want.

Use the head unit for remote power, unless you want the amp on any time the ignition is on.
