The last 7 digits of your VIN #. Under cargo tracking, go to auto & put your # in.

I called in this morning-Sunnie is still just in production It's been a week & still no "clothes" or "makeup" I think the 10 day theory to build a MINI is correct.
This birthing process is starting to kill me-it took less time to deliver my son

Great news AppleCello . Its about time!

Now I feel like I am being left behind. Everyone is getting into production, and I am still stuck at "Scheduled for production with no firm date" even though my production number is 7482XXX. Maybe all those last minute changes delayed things . It can't be too long now I suppose. I guess this is a good lesson in patience, BUT THE WAIT IS KILLING ME !!

I checked yesterday. Maybe I need to call again. Does calling repeatedly speed thigns up?

Yes I talked to a real person. They said my status has not changed for nearly 2 weeks. Did you jump directly from "no firm date" to having a VIN?

yes, no firm date, then the rep told this afternoon that my car went into production early this morning and she gave me the last 7 of my VIN.

maybe it does have to do with spec changes, i dont know. i never changed anyhitng on my list.

YES!!!!!!!!!! In Production!!!!!!!

You inspired me to go call again and .....
My MCS (yet unnamed) started production today at 5:36AM !!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! The mojo is workin' today!!!!!! Man that feels good!!!!!! We must be following each other down the line!
They said my estimated completion date in the system is 9/14, but that is probably pessimistic and it should be done some time next week.

It is likely we will be on the same boat. You will probably get yours before I do though. Mine is going to Illinois first, then on the truck to Seattle.

I know I'm suppose to "rejoice with those that rejoice"....

As long as you remember to "weep with those that weep"....

I'm rejoicing for all you folks who have MINIs actually being built....and put on a boat.....and being delivered!

My fate? "Your MINI is scheduled for production with no firm production date!"

If I hear that recording once more, I may jump out my window. Although, my window is at ground level and I probably will survive the three foot jump, I may jump anyway!

Please, MINI, help! At leave give me a firm production date! I've got to hear some progress! I'm losing my sanity! Yes, the rep has told me the production date, but I want to hear the computer say it so I can call, and call, and call........

Yes, I feel better. Thank you very much!

Update on the Freedom

Well, for those 120 or so of us OIWs (Owners in Waiting) who are on the Freedom, the good news is that she has left port in Brunswick, and is on schedule to be in port in Charleston TODAY! Our MINIs are almost on US soil!! Of course, they then go into a sort of tracking black hole... - -

BMWnut, you have to call and talk to a live Representative! The automated system still says the same junk for me too... "no firm date."

Got on the phone!

Week 39 Build

Just heard from Ask Mini that Scooter will be built by the end of the last week in September. Looking forward to learning how you all know what ship you are on and when it sails.

Mine has a heartbeat too! It is built and waiting transport. I've got an 05 MCS, Chili red / Black with all the options except the nav pkg and back up sensor. This is my first time posting on a forum and hope I'm doin' it right. If I am, you'll never get rid of me.

Lois, are you getting this information from the website or a Rep from Ask MINI?
