wow this rocks we are all getting so close! whooo hoooo, I am on the Patriot with no asterisk whew :smile: That is so cool that Mountaingal has a mini waiting for her, I cant wait for that to be me. I have started school again so these next 3-4 weeks are going to fly by now, i have to write a feature length script in the next 14 weeks yeeehaw! wish me luck, have to work my mini into it somehow

 

Just spoke with ASK-MINI and learned that production of 7499xxx has been completed (on time)!
Waiting now for transportation details to be established; I assume that's for both shipping to Southampton and for which ship/date for the trip across the pond. No info yet at the WW site or at the OL. Hoping there's time to get on board for the next crossing to NJ, I guess that'd be on the Carmen, departing Tuesday the 14-th.

Scooter is to be a week 39 build and is in status 112 now. Scooter is a CoolBlueMini S convertable, Blue leather, all 3 packages, chrono pac, UGDO, chrome in and out. Basically all options except the Navigation package.

The OL says I am now in transit across the pond. But I Still can't find my VIN# on the WW tracking. My EDD is September 27th. If my MINI is on A WW vessel, its probably on the Madame Butterfly or the Liberty. What I can't figure out, is on the 4th my MINI was booked on the Patriot, but it dissapeared on monday from the tracking. So, who should I trust, the OL or WW ?? (Please say the OL!)

Just hope that the 27th isn't also the first day of snow here in Minnesota !

 

Well you see the ship encountered some rough seas ... and well ... they had to lighten the ship .... and you see .... your car was very near the doors ... and the crewmen are not very large ... so you see MINI will be making a lot more of these.... so if you would just contact your MA ....

The OL just updated my MINI to Enroute, with estimated delivery of 9/27/04. So things should definitely be on track for picking him up in Chicago in mid-October. Whee!

Like others, the WW tracking site does not recognize my VIN, and never has.

 

Just checked thanks to your post and I got the same status! En Route and expected to arrive on the 27th!! That is only a little more than 2 weeks away! I just wish we could figure out what boat we all are on. I imagine that your MINI is pretty much following the same path as mine being as they have the same production date and are going to the same place. (or so i assume since you too are from Minnesota)

 

this is weird... i am shown onthe madame butterfly to arrive in new york on the 15th. an ma at mini of manhattan sees it in her system as well. however the ol says i am still awaiting transport... go figure!

Our little EB/W MCS is just getting stamped out in the bodyshop this mornin!

 

I promised myself that I would not get anxious about my Mini until closer to the deliverly date, but after reading everyone's anticipation for theirs, I am now wanting mine. I've got some time though, I just ordered last week (9-3-04) and got the last slot for the end of Oct. As an aside, Applecello, you are making me homesick.

How are you getting a list? I am able to find my own car singley but have found no way to pull up any kind of list.

Not to spoil the fun for those folks who like to look thing up, but if I can figure out how to post it I have the list of MINIs waiting for the Trinidad sorted by body type and serial number. It may be to small to read because of the file limits on the website. Patrick if you are listening tell me how to put this thing in a post at a size folks can read. Best advice I can give is to drag it to your desktop and enlarge it on you system using image software.

Phil,
When you put in your VIN#,a booking # will be with the info-then if you track by booking#, the list of all the MINIs booked for that ship will come up & you can see all the VINs.

I am a bit ahead of myself here, i know, but take a look!



Once released from the VPC (its still in the paint shop in the factory!), my MINI only has a two hour trip from the BMW processing center to my dealer, outside of Philly! That should mean a very quick transfer from VPC to dealer to me. I dont have any extras for the dealer to install, so after they wash it and toss in my rubber floor mats (they better!! ) then I can drive it 3 hours away back to my home! (State College, as seen on the left-hand edge of the map, halfway up.)

My mini is finally born!!! I haven't talked to any of the ASKMINI people yet, but OL says "awaiting transport"

Tried to look up the car in WW's website under cargo tracking, but couldn't find anything. I'm not disappointed, though, because I feel like things are really moving!!!
