I stoped at the dealer in Minneapolis today, drove around the parking lot and ... saw my MINI right there ! I'm very exited, but it will still be a couple days before i can pick it up .

I didn't take any pics cause I didn't have my camera there.
I don't know about other people but I find that extra cup holder to be very ugly and it seems like it would get in the way of the passenger.

Next time ill post I'll have a MINI !

I took mine off. Just remove two screws and it comes right off, replace the screws to hold the radio pillar on. Never would know it was there.

That said, the two front cupholders are just big enough to hold a can of soda. Even a medium McDonalds drink is probably too big for it. The extra third cupholder looks to hold a big gulp. There is always the big cupholder at he back of the center console (for the rear passengers).

Got an e-mail from the dealer today, my MCS has arrived! Too bad I can't go out to Chicago to pick it up until mid-October. Waaa....

Spoke with my MA this am. It looks like Sunnie is due to arrive at the dealer on Friday I kindly suggested to have her ready on Saturday for delivery because we were "headin' South" I'm so excited & I just can't hide it

ok - once again i have been told my car will be ready tomorrow. while i am really hoping its true, i have to play it cool for the moment... :-)

it is all done, but mini of manhattan decided it would be better to have my aero spoiler attached by a body shop and not risk messing up the paint... so my car is in mt.vernon just outside of the city as of yesterday having this done. they say it will be back tomorrow, prepped (again), filled with gas and ready to fly!

Despite my 9/30 EDD, my dealer thinks that 10/2 will be too early for a delivery, but said that it may be possible depending on how quickly it gets to them.

If Im not able to go get it on 10/2, im not sure when I will be able to. this could turn into another 2 or 3 weeks, thanks to my class and work schedule!!! NOO!!!!!!!!!

 

Called Mini just now and they show my ride at the port of exit on
August 25th. OL still shows 10/1 EDD, but still shows en route.

Anyone have any help on tracking down
mi carro? Have checked the WW website
and the VIN doesn't show up there.
My MA hasn't called me back yet, but I've
sold my other vehicle (Can empathize w/
the Jeep owner) and am hankering to get
out of my "can't get out of it's own way

I understand that mini isn't really quick or
seemingly obliged to update the OL on a
regular basis so that is why I turn to you

So after I left the last posting, I go to run some errands.
Upon letting the clutch out on the 'Cruiser, I hear a low
thud sound from under the floorboards. No big deal right?
The rig is super stout right? I get going and can smell
90W big time and it smells really burnt and by the time I
get home and get out of the vehicle, it's bleeding out all
over my driveway. So....I just sold my Bronco, my
Cruiser has the runs and my MA just called to tell me that
my car should be in port today but we're not sure and
apparently there's no way to find out until they call her.
So anyone have an extra car I can borrow for a week or
so?
Just kidding, good thing my Ma-in-law lives close and is
out of town for a while.

Mine did too. I still think I won't be able to pick up Mia until next week. Dealer says they need it for a day to install the window tint and clear bra. I wonder if I REALLY need those items...

I had tint & clear bra installed aftermarket. They really are worth the money,although I imagine the dealer gets a little more for doing it

I probably would have had them installed aftermarket as well. But, I live in the middle of nowhere and wouldn't trust any of the local hillbilly shops with my Mia.

Besides, this way I can get it all done at once and not have to let her go again for window tinting. Boy, that sounds pathetic!

BTW, did you add any other accessories, I had them add an alarm, lojack, and the ipod connector. I regret the lojack, but too late.

i had the aero front end, driving lights, aux guages and ipod adapter installed. the thing that is keeping my car from me is the installation of my rear spoiler!
