I got one I got one!!!!Bwhahahahahahaha!

Oh man, my sister and I both ordered minis yesterday from Devin at St Louis Mini, Awesome guy by the way! I ordered a MCS LY/B with the yellow interiour w/chrome, threw the premium package on there with the leatherette! I am so excited I am going to explode! My build week is 39 and my prod # is 749xxx. Said should get it early to mid october. I am in California, Bay Area, is it cheaper to find your own shipping? He said we will get a deal if we have them shipped on the same truck. Have to wait and see what price he comes up with. I will let my sister sign in and give all of her details. WHOooooooooHOOOoooooooo!!!

Oh, wow, I am sooooo exited !!!

I just talked to a rep at Mini and they have not only received the changes, but I have a scheduled finish date of September 10th so I guess that means the scheduled production starting date is around Sept. 1, or week 36????

Yayyyy, yayyyy, yayyyyy !!!!!

Does anyone know when the car will arrive in NJ?

Yeah - check with your MA frequently and they can update you as to arrival dates, plus, with your production number, you can set up an account on the owners' lounge at miniusa.com and also follow the process there!~

This is where I get confused which is often these days. Have had several MINIUSA people tell me my MINI will be finished with production week 37. Does that mean it will be built sometime in week 36? How long does it take to build a MINI? Oh me oh my, I'm already tired of driving the Miata. It's 95 today & it's way too much effort to get the top up especially since the one latch doesn't work too well anymore

The person I talked to said it is about two weeks before your production end date. That number seems very high to me, however.

OK .... finally seeing some movement! Called ASK-MINI a few minutes ago and learned that I am now in Scheduled For Production status, with production to be completed by Sept. 10.

way tog ozbone! your news has actually prompted my umpteenth check in on the status of my car and i finally got the lowdown from a really nice guy at ask-mini named dan. dan says that the production week is the week the car will finish and that they start the build the week BEFORE...so.... all of these mixed signals i've been getting now add up. some reps see it as 36th week production (for example) and you would think it will finish the following week. NOT TRUE says the super friendly dan of ask-mini! in fact, production would start during week 35 (in my case NEXT WEEK!) and finish sometime during week 36. sorry if this is old hat to you all, but for me it was the light at the end of the tunnel after hearing tow differenet time periods from every other person i have spoken to.

I live in the midwest. I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes for the car to get across the pond and at the dealership. Last MINI was off the floor, no waiting. I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!!!! I miss driving a MINI so much!!! When will this end?!! I'm gonna have to take some time to go to the dealership and go for a long test drive. Say a few hour drive. hehe

Ozbone- it seems like we're in production together!! I was also told today that production should finish Sept. 10th. And here silly me thought they will only begin building on Sept. 7/6 . I hope I make many more mistakes like that. Now the question that remains is..... When will the car arrive at the dealership, because I am feeling so damn impatient

OK, I'm gonna stop lurking long enough to post that my MCS (PN #7488XXX) is still "scheduled for production with no firm date".

After years of driving my '91 Miata (a great and fun car by the way), I'm really looking forward to picking up my MINI in Chicago and driving it back to the Pacific Northwest.

I'm so glad you finally got the "scoop" I too was getting mixed signals. I think Dan was the very first person I spoke to & he told me Sunnie would be finished with production by week 37. Which means she'll actually start being born week after next (jumping wildly around the room)

My 1st MINI made it off the boat in NJ, through VPC & to the dealer in St. Louis in 1 week. Are you getting yours from one of the dealers in Chicago? My Cabrio is going to Roadshow in Memphis & their cars are delivered to the SC VPC so it may take longer this time.

I have almost no one nearby! Its good and bad because it makes my car more unique in the area, but if I want to go to events that requires about 2.5-3 hrs of driving , there and back.
