A brake job at any shop costs an arm and a leg for no real reason... Bowders has the right idea, grab the rear kit for $130-ish and do it yourself or have a family member/friend help you out. It'll take maybe an hour, maybe less/more depending on their experience.

It's worth it to save the cash. Oh, and then you'll get the mod-itch

Personally, I plan on keeping the drilled/slotted rotors on mine. They're pricey but worth it.

Hello Brenda, you can purchase some rear brake pads here. Genuine MINI pads, Akebono, and the OEM supplier pads are the brands I'd stick to. Personally, I always change my rotors, but you may not need to. Here are rotors in case you plan to change them. If you plan to DIY this brake job, be sure to check out our brake pad replacement here and our brake rotor replacement here. And yes, we do ship to Canada daily. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello Mini heads . I'm looking at these . For front brake replacements, I have a R53 2004 MCS. Will these work even though it's JCW brakes (2004 MINI Cooper S L4 1.6L ES#2597816)

Just posted here: Those are only for MINIs with the JCW Sport Brake kit, you will need the Not for John Cooper Works kit on the front.

Its very close the the Genuine MINI ones in design which do create more brake dust, if you go with the Akebono you will have less brake dust, but if you don't care about dust and want a low cost alternative, those are good.

You can get the akebono, zimmermans , front pad sensor, 2 x rotor screws, and brake " AGS Syl-Glide Silicone Brake lubricant packets " separate.

Thanks
