Belt or tensioner?

Hey guys, recently (within a week and half) ive been getting this strange noise either from the belt or tensioner, kinda sounds more bearing like then a super squeeling belt (insert typical beat Hyundai noise here)

its not happening all the time and when it does happen its only for a few min then goes away.

then one hot day I was coming home from camping with the AC on, and leaving the tolls, I was getting some really odd noises accelerating, such as a slipping belt. but I could still boost. (this definently seems like tensioner) but I haven't been able to replicate it

I think you're on the right path. When's the last time you replaced the belt? Were you able to pin point exactly where the initial sound you were hearing was coming from? If you're DIY inclind, you may just want to replace the belt and tensioner. Here is a DIY article here if needed.

probably just the belt

Same thing happened to me around 65k miles. A new belt and all was quiet again.

I bought the car with 24k miles, I now have 55k, I haven't changed either, I wanna say it is time for a belt regardless. but I didn't know if there were any tell tale signs of a failing tensioner, I only have 1 hole exposed, and its just exposed
