2006 R50 UK spec leaking trunk - pics

Hi,

The water is pooling in the rear, right corner after rain. Any ideas where this could be coming from?

Cheers.

My guess would be it is coming in by your right rear light assembly. I would guess the seal, Part 63216938833 (that is the part number on the US car, I'm sure it would be the same for the UK version) ... pull your light and check the seal.

Motor on!

+1 the seal in the taillight or the drain tube in the rear came undone if you have the sunroof. 63216938834

Thank you for this.

I don't have a sunroof. I will never buy a car with one again. It's not a matter of if it will leak, but when. It's honestly the worst idea in the world, literally a hole in your roof that is designed to let water in to your car (i.e. below your roof line) that is caught in a tray and then has to be drained through tiny little tubes (prone to clogging and some very hard to blow with compressed air or if you do then risk detaching the tube somewhere you can't reach unless you take the whole roof liner off) that run inside your car to a drain in the bottom of your car. On top of all this they add weight to the highest point of the car (((face palm))). In my humble opinion, if you really want some air and sunshine from above buy a convertible (I think they suck as well and would never own one).

LOL, you can tell I don't like sunroofs.

You are welcome.

+1 on the third brake like also. Since you don't have sunroof.
