introducing myself and scooter
Hello all,
My name is Emerson and I recently purchased 'scooter', Pedro's(mct) 2006 cooper s. Loved this car as soon as I saw it! Higher miles but with some research I realised this car was extremely well taken care of so I had no worries.
He's was scooter before the 1700mi drive home back to Indiana
Those of you that don't know the following has been done to the car:
John Cooper Works Aero Kit
John Cooper Works Sports Exhaust with Chrome tips and JCW logo
John Cooper Works Carbon Fiber Spoiler
John Cooper Works Air Intake
Minspeed 15% Supercharger Reduction Pulley
ATI Super Damper Crank Pulley
Schroth Quick Fit Racing Harness
Forge Aluminum Coolant tank
BC Racing Fully Adjustable Coilover Suspension (front and rear) with front Camber Plates
Alta 19mm Rear Adjustable Sway Bar in Chili Red
SPC Adjustable Rear Control Arms
Powergrid Adjustable Endlinks
M7 Understrut System
Front End Cabrio Stiffening Braces
EBC USR1007 Sport Slotted Brakes with Stainless Steel Brake Lines
The car has Dyno'd at 190whp.
My plan for the car is to break 200whp mark and have it be my dd/autox car.
The near future is to strip the white and replace it with black or matte grey. Hood stripes, roof, mirror caps will all be redone most likely with vinyl.
Perdo sold me the car with two sets of wheels, asa's AR1 and weds sport TC005. My fiancée father really wanted the asa's and I preferred the Weds anyways so I swapped them on!
Just installed a m7 splitter. Makes me love the car even more!
Splitter is about 2 3/4" off the ground so it'll be interesting how long I can keep it on with the shirt roads in my area lol
More to come!

Welcome to NAM, Emerson! Love that M7 front splitter! Looks great and really makes the front end look more aggressive. I like the matte gray idea. There's a lot of red on black out there, so I think the matte gray might be a fun difference. Really dig the look of those wheels too. Good choice on keeping those ones.

Emerson,
If you want to see Scooter starring in an actual TV commercial, check out www.vistamini.com and watch the commercial posted there. It actually aired locally on TV down here.

Ayyo long time no posting!
Installed a M7 strut tower brace awhile ago I forgot to post
But besides that Ive been away from the mini 3 going on 4 months now but I'll be home in a little more than 2 weeks. The parts are stacking up at home and I think my fiancée is getting mad about it haha
So far I've got,
-Cravenspeed adjustable shifter
-Cravenspeed boost gauge holder
-Stacked boost gauge
-Condor speed shop weighted shift **** (made for bmw e30s) but I'm a huge fan of it as I had it on my last car
-Outmotoring speedo/tach faceplates
-MSD coil pack
-MSD 8.5 plug wires
-NGK step colder plugs
-DDM intercooler diverter in black
-DDM intake and intercooler couplers
-DDM intake (replacing my current JCW intake) because I love the supercharger sound and since the flap is always open I might as well take this expensive piece of kit and sell to someone who it might be better suited for
In short I'm gonna be busy when I get home hope to be posting more!

Looks like you've got a great install list going so far. Looking forward to seeing the new additions added to your MINI. Loving that strut bar.

No , they are black like the pic above installed, the photo booth white box and lighting makes them look lighter gray.

Made it home safely and the modding has begun, when it's not bone chillingly cold at least lol
So far I've gotten the Cravenspeed shifter and my Condor speed shop shift **** installed. What a difference!
With this shift **** installed the height of the shifter is actually taller, which is more to my preference
Also swapped the battery do to a dead cell, didn't get started as much as I wanted it too while I was gone but hey more the reason to swap in an optima red top right!
Recently broke the 130k mark and what do you know the car started breaking hahaha. But really the passenger airbag sensor decided to take a crap, Yay for recall work though!
Slowly starting to install the other parts will have more updates
Tested out my gopro too
