Vinyl Wrap Mini Cooper S

Have any of you guys fully covered your Mini S in a Vinyl Wrap? If so how much should it cost? I am carbon fiber wrapping all Chrome bits, the roof and the front hood scoop tomorrow and I'm shiny blacking vinyl wrapping the front light trims and slatted grill tomorrow. I am asking because I may go a silver like the following car as well for the rest of the body:

It depends on the type of material and the shop where you get it installed. A good wrap could cost up to as much as a new paint job sometimes. I'd recommend doing a Google search for vinyl shops in your area to call and get a quote from. You can then call around to a few others and compare pricing.

Avg cost is about 3K with all the labor involved. There is quite a bit of waste associated with wrapping a car

Roof (with Lion), Bonnet & Hatch Stripe and Mirrors was $300 Flat (with a 1 year warranty) and was recommended by someone on here too. The same job at a couple other places was over $600+Tax!

Was the camo on top of the matte white? If so, any damage to the base wrap when removing the camo?

Yes the camo was on top. No damage it was only on for a few weeks. I was using 3M wrap.

Could always go the plastidip route as another option.

Are there shops that could do a professional plasti dip job in matte white?

Old thread but does anyone know if it is possible to wrap the black plastic around the fenders? I know most people end up painting them and I’m wondering if the surface is too rough for the vinyl to stay properly.

Maybe a couple years, depends on how good the wrap is and the rock chips on it. I have seen some that get blasted and they have a bunch of small tears and i have seen others that held up well. Some wraps I have seen have 5+ years on them and they are still good. Most wrapped roof on a MINI with treatment fade before they really go bad and peel.

The 3M stuff seems to be the best. Prep and taking your time around trim pays off in fitment.

Works but it will also start to get the little tears, it does not last near as long as wrap. But some people like to change colors or do something different so they change it every 2-3 years.

Hey I know this is a bit late but I did wrap my r53 matte military green. It cost me 600 on rvinyl by 3m 2080. I wrapped it myself. I wrapped everything but the bumpers, sideskirts and fender flares. I painted them black to match with my black wheels. I wrapped the roof and that front body part with the windshield wipers ( i dont know what its called ) carbon fiber white. The carbon fiber white was vvivid and it cost $96.97. Tools and alcohol and gloves and everything brought it up to 800 and change.
