Alternator

What tools will you need to remove an alternator off an 02 base model.

10mm wrench, belt tensioner tool, 13mm wrench for the battery cable nut. We have a DIY that goes over the replacement of the alternator if needed.

Is there something else that could be used instead of the belt tensioning tool. My brother is stranded and don't have this tool. Thanks

I believe you can by using a 3/8ths ratchet in tensioner. Check out this NAM thread HERE for information. We also have detailed images of the process in our DIY if needed.
