Huge list of mods I won't bore you with. But here's a couple pics of the r53 project. Only took 35 days. Used to be two tone with a white top. And in no way is it close to being done lol.

I like the black top two tone. But white on blue made me feel like a European cop car. And of course I had to match the wheel trims and re-paint the window trim black gloss as well. My goal is 0 chrome. Post a pic of your 05.

Loving that CF hood! What's the next step? I really like those wheels on your MINI as well. What are they?

Next step. Is dyno tune, roll cage. For now. As far as my budget alows. The wheels are volk reps with suprisingly just a couple pounds heavier. Xxr 527's. That hood was only $200.00 from CL. Go figure.

Awesome. Ah, XXR's! I almost went with them until I found a set of Enkei's for a steal of a deal. I found a CF hood on a forum for a great deal as well. Have to love when you find those.

Testing waters there my friend. Kinda seeing what the market is for a custom mini. I hate to say it here but if a 1g dsm comes along. I'm going back. I really miss awd. Or I may just buy a shell and start over.

I take it you're into drag racing? The only time I see DSM's is at a drag strip.

Just FYI, you can click the icon with the plus sign next to the quote button to multi-quote posts so you don't have to make 3 separate replies.

I do like a good drag race. The mini is a corner ***** for sure. But doing a 9 sec quarter from an awd launch is so much fun. Plus I'm an avid snowboarder, and awd comes in very handy during those white out hill drives. And thanks for the plus sign icon info :-)

There's no part out.
It's an r53 with an r50 rear lower bumper spoiler and custom welded exhaust. If that answers your question sir?
