I wonder if any of you lovely people can help me, because obviously MINI themsleves can't!!!!!!

I have a customer that wants to pull a MINI behind his RV, not on a dolly but on all four wheels, 5 or 6 speed transmission.......I already have some answers but I want to hear from real people, not the techs and the MINI HO employees....

My inlaws had to buy a Saturn because they said it was one of only two cars that could be towed that way. I think the other was a certain model of Honda.

Check the websites for RV magazines...they test and rate cars for flat towing..or "Camping World" a large retail RV supplier...Mike

My Dad wanted to pull his MINI behind his RV on his last trip to Florida. MINI advises that it not be flat towed, ie all four wheels touching the road. He couldn't find a trailer that the MINI could fit on because of it's low ground clearance. Granted, I don't think he looked very hard. He finally found a dolly (i'm not sure that's exactly what it's called). You drive the front two wheels up on it and the back two roll along the road. It worked great his last trip with no damage to the MINI.

I think the dolly or trailer would be the only way to go.
