There are probably about 6-7 MINI in my neighborhood, but apparently we are seldom on the street at the same time. I only actually see one every other day or so (maybe). We do all wave, flash lights, thumbs up...whatever...but some of these folks I've actually talked to so it's not like we're total strangers.

University Heights (in San Diego, CA) seems to be a Mini-hood.
My PW/B MCS is the latest addition. 2 blocks to the west is a CR/B MC, 2 blocks south from there is an EB/W MCS, 1 block south from there is a PS/PS MC (those are all on Maryland).
I think there's a VR that lives somewhere on Madison, too.
It helps to live in an older neighborhood where Minis don't have 3-car garages to hide in.

We be doin' TIJ in my 'hood. An IB/W MCS lives in my garage, while the mother of my son's classmate drives her CR/W MCS all around town; and a PW/B MC just showed up this past spring in one of the driveways down the hill from me.
Still a far cry from the MGC scene. I know of only about five others in all of Ohio, although I'm sure that there are several more.

Where I live in Portland OR there are 4 Mini's within 10 blocks. 2 MCS and 2 MC. There may be more parked in garages where I cannot see.
My neighborhood is also full of my other favorite vehicles - VW Vangon and Eurovan campers.

In my neighborhood we have a R/W MCS, an Indigo MC, my R/W MC a Bl/B/ MC from Washington state and a BRG convertable classic Mini.

I'm not really sure where my 'neighborhood' starts and stops, but there are probably 10 MINIs on campus and countless others in surrounding Ann Arbor. On campus I've seen a CR/B MC, DS/B MCS, SG MC, LY/Check MC, IB/W MCS, LY/W MCS, BRG/W MCS, plus my CR/W MC... all seem to be driven by students.

I've seen 3 minis in the last 3 years. One CR/W MC/S I think was owned by a college student from out of town. One Indie Blue MC that had North CArolina plates and was just passing through, and a LY/B MC I saw in the Sam's CLub parking lot that had a parking sticker from Bedford, which is one town over. Other than that - nada. Until my PH/W MC/S hits town soon!

Come down to Miami, FL. Here you'll see soooo many MINIs (30-50 average a day) that within a day or two you will get sick and tired of seeing them on just about every corner.
Classic Minis are not a rare sight here either.
