Clutch tool
Can anyone help with a clutch centering tool ? I'm trying to find one locally but I'm not really sure what the correct one is.

There is a GM one that fits our vehicle. Crank shaft doesnt really have a good pilot hole though...

We've got a drawer full of the Valeo centering tools from the Valeo clutches, it should work for a stock clutch as well due to the same spline on the input shaft.
Let us know if you want us to send one out to you. They're not sold separately from the full clutch kit, but we have a stock pile.

Does the Valeo flywheel conversion/clutch kit COME with the alignment tool?
I'm ordering it next month, but in the "what comes in the box" on most of the descriptions does not say it includes the tool.

Yes, the kit will come with everything you need short of a slave cylinder, guide tube, and trans fluid.
Valeo Clutch Kit
Slave Cylinder
Throw Out Bearing Guide Tube
Royal Purple Trans Fluid

nkfry, thanks for the offer.
I'm trying to get one for Saturday morning . Usual poor planing on my part. Napa has a universal kit for $25 . I will probably do that.

I've put several in by eyeball, had no issues with any of them doing it this way.....there's no pilot bushing in the crankshaft so it's pretty easy.

This. The tool is mostly useless. I just felt all the way around the clutch to make sure it was evenly spaced all around the pressure plate. Tranny went on the first try
