Removing Driving Lights

I've taken off the brackets and snipped the wires on my driving lights. Now I am left with two exposed wires in the hood.

What's the best way to cover the wires knowing that however it's done they will be exposed to the engine heat and vibrations. Crimping them and putting on a connector is all I'm coming up with.

Taking the wires out completely would of course be ideal but I'm not positive I want to leave them off so leaving the wires in would make things a lot easier now and possibly in the future as well.

If you're concerned about power accidentally going to the wires, just pull the auxiliary fuse for the driving lights. As gpwpat said, wire nuts and a little tape and you should be good. Zip tie will hold them wherever you desire.

What year is your Mini.... I would be interested in buying your brackets if they will fit a 2011 Mini S convertible. Thanks

They will not fit the 2011 MINIs , the ones above I believe are factory for the gen 1 MINI 2002-2008.
