Coolant temp range?

I've searched the forums but can't find a consensus. What is the normal coolant temperature range in the summer?

Mine is currently 205-210 Fahrenheit. It seems like that might be a little warm.

Thanks!

That sounds like the normal range. The warning light will go off at 240 degrees, so probably not critical. How many miles on the car, and do you know if the radiator has ever been flushed? What year?

If you do need some parts you can check out this guide:

It's a 2004 with 72K.miles. I started anther thread earlier asking about my cooling fan behavior, but some suggested it might be normal behavior. So I just wanted to see what other drivers with OBI gauges are seeing if they monitor their temps.

For what it's worth, my 06 JCW with 76K runs between 188 and 194, winter and summer here in the Central Valley.

Thanks for the responses! I'm going to look into my high speed fan to see if that's what is causing me to run a little warm.

usually it should run around 198 if everything is normal .. if your getting to the 210 range and it's not cooling down your stage one fan resistor is blown . just turn on your ac so your second stage works all the time until you can change the resistor
