I came home from work tonight, and found the following note taped to my front door:

"Dear Michael,

I know how excited you are for me to arrive so I asked Stacey (my wife) to pick up a "mini-me" at Amazon. Enjoy!

HerMIoNI (my soon-to-arrive MCS)"

Then I walked inside to find this on the kitchen table:


My wife likes to pretend that I'm demented about the MINI, but as you can see, she's just as batty as I am

Ya gotta love an understaning spouse! My family is SO tired of my MINI evangelism that they completely tune me out - even the 16 year old who is the craziest for the car!

I guess I'll shop for myself for xmas!!

Yes. I agree. My entire family is about sick of me too.

Since most of the good MINI stuff seems to be available online (family won't shop online), and none of my family wants to travel to the dealer it doesn't look hopeful that I'll be gettting much MINI stuff for X-MAS.

I've got a 1:10 r/c MINI and a 1:24 as well. The 1:10 scale I got while waiting for my MINI. It really helped a lot! I used to bring it when we went to people's homes on the weekends. :smile: Also the headlights go on when it goes forward and the tailights go on when it goes backwards...I actually still brought it with me to a friend's house yesterday as I showed them my REAL MINI also.

I love those things...

 

 

I spend so much time on this site and doing 'Mini stuff'
my wife would probably replace me with that Mini car.

 

It's adorable!! I found one on Toys R Us Online......might have to buy myself an early x-mas present! :smile:

 

but I DID get the MINI cuckoo clock! It's a riot! On the hour a little door opens and out pops a tiny Chili Red/White MINI which revs thru the gears and toots its horn twice!

My cuckoo clock has been going off every hour now for 3 months! I STILL LOVE IT!
