Rear Wiper Too Long

The rear wiper on our new to us R50 is too long and is hitting the black strip above the rear window glass. The wiper blade it 12 inches. Can you tell from the pics if I am only need a new wiper blade or do I have an incorrect arm?

that blade looks wrong. Ime always 'fit' to the contours of the ARM. And the length is wrong ...

I always found the 'real one' too expensive so I took the blade into a part store and found a generic insert that would fit the clips .... it was way too long, but cut easily. Cost a couple of bucks vs $16

grab the end of the old insert with some needle nose pliers and it is easy to pull it out. The new will slide right in ...

They = previous owner, just bought the car.

Ordered the correct blade, it's obviously different, will see if that fixes it, if not replace the arm.
