air blows from engine bay

in Socal, today's weather was over 100 degrees. I just came home from work and opened the hood and noticed that air blows from right side of engine (see attached). I didn't turn off the engine. is it normal? I've never experienced this before.

Probably boosted (i.e. compressed) air leak at the intercooler coupling. You just need to remove the intercooler trim cover to see what I mean.

Interesting thought but I would think any boost would be lost once the engine stops turning the supercharger that would let any air travel back out through the air filter box. Is there a "check valve" in the system to prevent this? I do not know how tight the throttle body seal is..
