loose plugs!!!!!!

A while back I was reading a thread about torque values for plugs, and there were enough people who were complaining about their plugs loosening up and in a few cases actually blowing themselves right out of the car, I decided to check mine.I bought a decent torque wrench from Alex at tire rack ,but discovered to my dismay that it was 1/2 inch drive,so I had to go out and equip myself with a bunch of 1/2 " drive sockets and a 10 " extension, that I've never needed up till now.Now this has taken me several days to put all this together, so today I actually did the deed:#'s 1 & 2 were good, BUT #3 WAS FINGER TIGHT AND #4 WAS REALLY LOOSE!!!!!!!!!!WTF?????Randy Webb stated he was looking into it,and since he was the one who installed them(denso irridium at pulley party in Hartford in July) I have to assume they were put in right.Has anyone got any definative info on this problem? MINI USA : any comments?Anyone? I know I for one will be checking this very often.

There's a sticky on this subject at webbmotorsports.com. Go to the Garage section, then in Performance section. It's at the very top. Several folks have reported that their plugs were loose. I have the IK-22s and have checked them several times with no issues noted.
