It's actually a pretty good issue. There's some good talk between the tuners with the 4 different MINI's. They make some useful suggestions and advice towards modding your MINI. And on top of that, there's an '03 calendar in it. MonsterMIINI's car took January. A lot more MINI advertising in this issue. Just may have to get a subscription to it.

Wow. And I thought I already had more than enough ways to "waste" time....

 

One thing that jumped out at me was in TVA's red Cooper: nice matching red down tubes flanking the stereo and climate controls. I sent them an e-mail asking whether they were custom painted or some sort of bolt-on plastic piece, but I haven't gotten a response. I'm guessing that they had it custom done, since they also went to the expense and trouble of having contrasting red panels stitched into their leather seats. I'd definitely pay $20 or so for some plastic snap-on pieces for this, if one of the MINI parts suppliers offered it.

In any case, this is custom paint in the red car.
The same look could be acheived with carefully applied vinyl...something I plan to try.

The door handle bar in the door pockets were painted in red too...really looks slick.
It's nice to add some color to the interior.
