PCV Valve issue

Any one have a solution for the the proper PCV valve. I have read that original design used a bolt through a tab fastened to the valve cover. The later design has the PCV valve screw directly into the valve cover. None of the auto part houses have any idea about this new PCV valve. The dealer doesn’t seem to have it either.

Don't know what you're asking?
My '05 uses the screw in type, don't know if it's a pre -vs- post facelift change or not.
I just got one from the dealer, for my VIN no issues.

But yours is, what yours is, they are not interchangeable without changing the rocker cover as well.

More info here.

If you updated the cover the newest ones have the screw in type. No part number for the older type valve cover: 11128658461

Yes what is your question?

The early 02-04 cars had the screw that attached it to the valve cover, then in late 04 they went to the screw in style. Neither is better than the other, they just attach differently.

We offer both versions if you just need the valve
