2006 mini cooper s parts compatibility

Good morning yall. I recently purchased a used 2006 mini cooper s with 90k miles on it for cheap, knowing it had some repairs that needed to be done on it. My mechanic quoted me for a few repairs:
New valve cover gasket
Rear wheel bearings
Lower control arm bushings
Ambient temp sensor + connector
And a transmission fluid flush and refresh.
First off, when looking up some parts(wheel bearings) i found some were only compatible with 2002-2005 models. Are there any other little things like this id have to look out for when looking up parts?
Does anyone have affordable parts suggestions for the repairs i need? Id greatly appreciate it.

Looks like the bearing hub comes in m14 and m12. Depending on what part of 2006 it was manufactured. Ie before or after 04/2006. Mine was manufactured on 04/26/06. Does this count as a late model??

The answer depends on the thread pitch of your lug bolts. You don't want to end up with one hub different from the other three.

if it's a late model '06 like mine, it will have the 14mm lug bolt threads in the hubs.....most every part store shows 12mm for the hubs....I just ordered a hub for my '06 R52 for a 2007 model car...fit perfectly
