No , I live in milwaukee..i eyed those rims on ebay awhile back and loved the look and style and then a set happen to pop up locally ,brand new too. He said the hub was like 71 so i think I read that that's more than large enough to clear my hub but I will need hub centric rings them.

Thx for the fitment chart but I didn't see one rim stating 8in wide ..
15x8 with a 25mm offset , what tires would be best or am I going to have rubbing issues ? I need to know by Saturday ! So plz help.
I can Google too.but I don't want it might or it should . I need a for sure answer , like any of you running this size ?
gee, I wonder if my current rims are x8??? If they have 205wide tires on them , chances are the are 8in wide, correct ? My wheels do stick out maybe a few millimeters past my fenders already but imo it does not look bad at all. If anything it's one of the best fitment I've seen on our cars .
also, am I stuck using expensive BMW specific tpms sensors or can I buy some universal cheapos

When I had 55 tall tires it didn't rub but running 60s it does when I have another passenger in the car..lol well, that explains why my front fender trim kept coming loose on the rear of it..lol
if I get these new rims maybe I will run the same 205 wide tire but just 55 tall so I don't have rub issues with passengers in the car.

Can anybody plz confirm if a 15x8 with 25 offset will fit ??? I would run a 205/50 tire with it only...plz help as I could sell my rims but am hesitant as I would have to purchase new ones..plz help
my current rims are 15x8 and I would like to keep the same fitment they have but theres nothing on the rims to say what brand make or anything other than 15x8 on them.. I find similar rims that are 25 and 35mm offset so could these be that offset ?
think I found my answer but anyone running 15x8 or 16x8 with 25 or 35 just to make sure ?

15x8 would get a 205/55
16x8 a 205/50
ET25 is a bit low for a x8, ET35 looks perfect (to me) as it's perfectly flush with the OE plastic bits.
The wheels fill fit, sure, but they'll poke a bit past the fenders and the 205/50s are way too small for a Mini (IMO, your call on final drive ratio).
The Mini's CB is 56.1mm.

I think my car may be lowered as on the combo I have now there literally no wheel well gap at all and going fast hitting deep dips I do occasionally rub and when I had my 50 tall tires I never did so I'm hoping the 55tall will be the perfect middle ground .
should i go with 215 wide ???? Or even 225 ? I do need all the extra meet on the road i can get . I just dont want any issues turning the wheel and rubbing . Up and down is onething but side to side is unacceptable .

The R53 isn't heavy enough to warrant anything wider on the street with 200hp or less. If you're running out of traction on 205mm tires on the street, you need a better compound tire.
Frankly I probably wouldn't step up to 215s unless it was for a look until 225hp, or track use (at which point it's gonna be 225, 245, or 275 anyway).

I can't help with fitment question, just wanted to comment on the wicked cool wheels...
...they look like Work Equip 03
Such wildly radtastic rim designs were a JDM specialty,
and the Equip is like an evolution of old Star Shark II:

Neat stuff.

yes... I ordered less aggressive abit cheaper tires and pulled the trigger on the rims and will be getting them tomorrow and tires will be here in a week
reason I didnt get full sport tires was autoX might not even happen this year and I'd like to atleast street the car sometimes and dont wanna wear expensive tires.
I was advised these tires by a few autox members due to they are cheap which they squeal allowing me to know when I'm pushing them too hard and heat n stuff which I will be learning about lol I just followed their advice on the tires..

I ran Enkei PF01 15x8 +35 on my R53 with good results. That was a serious STX build, running 8" rims out front, and 7" rims at the rear. 225 out front, and 205 out back.
An offset of only +25 will move the wheel center 10mm further away from the center line, so depending on ride height you might have a rub...
If you only run 205 though, it'll probably work, but no guarantee.
Cheers,
Charlie

On a +25 offset on a 7 inch rim, I also used to knock the trim off as well on big dips. An extra 12.5mm further out and it is going to have quite a bit of poke. And stretching a 205/50/15 on an 8 inch rim is also going to decrease your overall side wall quite a bit. I'd have to think you would be turning almost 4k if not higher rpm at freeway speeds.

soooooo I think I should be fine running again a 205 wide but am hoping the 55 tall will be a perfect middle ground . The 60 tall rubbed and the 50 tall left imo a little too much wheel well so I hope the 55 will be perfect.
I will still be running a 15x8 but they have an et25 so I bought a 5mm spacer and they now sit just like my current 15x8 et20s sit and how my current rims sit is one of the best fitments I've seen on a r53 without spacers and extended bolts and other stuff to make them work. My wheel well is filled with like 1/2in of gap only and the edge of my tires protrude just past the fender and the tread actually tucks in the fender on big bumps then thanks to the little bit of stretch the 205s have on the 8in wide rim..running the 15s too with that extra tire really really helps the ride quality in these too. With the sport+ suspension and thin wall tires the car is just so harsh and rattleboxy on bumps and our streets suck . I'm a very very careful driver but it would take one pothole to bend a rim around here. Lol my wife ruind my 19in amg rims I out on her s55 awhile back in 2weeks on our roads..
heres acouple close up to see the fitment of my current setup.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. I love the new rims I love em I love em I love em. Fitment is near perfect ( could have alittle less wheelwell gap)..
I wanna show a whole car pic BUUUUUUT the Troll is in the middle of operation "rice" .. I've waiting for all the stuff to arrive and once it's all here I will finish the project and post pics of The Troll before and after and see what yours guys opinions are..
lol forceum hena tires, sounds like something sexual.. lol I've NEVER heard of these tires befor but believe it or not, they fricken ride n handle NICE. Now let's just see how long they last . I've had a set one time off Ebay on my wife's old jeep she used to own that had perfect alignment n suspension and all 4x tires were evenly worn down to the wear bars within 15k miles.. if I can get 20k out of these, I will be happy.

The Rota's are cool but I like the ones you got better.
Both are Work Equip designs tho.
Found an R53 with some of those 4 spokes fitted:
I like your style better.
Seems they're sold out of them:

I've only recently gotten into looking at all these JDM wheels and I think they're all pretty damn cool.

I've always loved Jdm style rims..lol I even put some on my camaro z28 30th anv I had ( until I got the new camaro 21x9.5 staggered rims ) ..
idk , I miiiiight like those 4 star rims I posted better.but I FEEL BLESSED to have gotten the set I got for the price I did . Those 4star rims are such a cool design and I've never in person seen it on someone's car . The ones I have on I have seen around a handful of time and th rpf1's i had I've seen on a bagillion cars, which is the main reason I didnt want them. I've always had to have a unique looking car, I JUST CANNOT drive a stock vehicle. Idc if I owned a saturn , IT WOULD BE MODDED ! I actually was intending on buying a stage 3 tuned Saturn ion redline but it had sold befor I could secure the money. That saturn was for sale for 2 days only and imo was a sweeeeet car and I bet it woulda been faster than my mini is now as it sat then it had less miles by almost half and the body on it too was immaculate but I'm glad I didnt get it because I've really met some cool characters on this forum and made a friend who owned one a few doors down from me. I'm finding that the mini community as owners generally seem to be a pretty solid ,good friendly and welcoming community.
