P0108 fault code can be done off from DME sw.Low boost mean low torque.

Update: Finished installation enough for a test drive. 82F Ambient. Highway pulls 3rd,4th,5th gear to 7krpm. IAT's would not exceed 120F. TVS900 with 60mm pulley boost w/TMIC was 17.8psi max. With FMIC boost was 15.5psi max. Good amount of drop but the power still felt great because of the lower temps. Planning to talk to Jan this week about grabbing a 55mm pulley to bring those numbers up a little. Not sure how much boost I'll get with a 55mm but as long as I don't exceed 18psi I'll be content with that. I'll get more IAT info at the next track day as well. More updates to come.

Have you noticed any loss in throttle response from the increase in volume?

Thanks! I have noticed a slight loss in throttle response/low end torque. Not drastic or concerning. The top end pull feels stronger despite losing almost 2.5psi. I went out for a car wash and drive today. Ambient temp was around 75F. I maxed out 2nd-5th gear and could not get IAT's above 120F. The recovery is even more incredible. IAT's drop so fast. I'm quite pleased. I'm hoping to make up for the lack in throttle response/low end torque by switching to a 55mm pulley. I plan to call Jan tomorrow and order one. Not sure if I'll need a new belt or not. We shall see.

So here is a log for you to check out. 55mm rmw head cat cam 469 1000cc injectors on e85 with stock intercooler and water injection. Ditched the airtech as it was straight trash and did nothing but look better than a stock unit. Instant pressure no loss no lag and temps better than a fmic. Again RODI injection and STOCK cooler. Really curious what you see though and what recovery you see. The pic is not at any set point its just a log from today. So the yellow line is not on a specific spot to see so to speak. Keep in mind after injector is even colder than what the Tmap is seeing as its again e85. If you want the actual log file let me know and I can send it so you can see real time values. Really curious again what you see with recorded data. My mods in sig.

I am a huge 2 stroke and Rotary guy. Still do tons of port work for the public on both.

Update: Bought/installed a 55mm pulley and Gates 535 belt. Max boost at 7,000rpm is now 18.32psi. Sounds awesome and the added power is nice. It seems that I'm running out of injectors now. After a tune we cannot get my AFR's below 12-12.2 at full throttle. I just checked the fuel pressure to verify my fuel pump was operating properly.

Fuel Pressure:
Key On - 52psi
Idle - 39-41psi
Full Throttle - 60psi and tapers off to 58psi approaching red line or 7,000rpm

Not sure if that pressure is acceptable or if pressure needs to remain at around 62psi solid. If injectors are the issue, I'm not sure if an upgrade to 550cc will suffice or larger will be necessary.

I'm shocked you are not already on 550's with all that work, I run 630cc on mine but I would go with what your tuner recommends

In my opinion you need 550cc injectors to get the right AFR on WOT.Fuel map at WOT is limited , can't inject enough fuel for TVS900 with 380cc or 450cc injectors at WOT.You are also limited because of Voltage clamp on TMAP sensor, DME get now lower boost values than the real ones, and injects smaller fuel amounts than necessary at WOT.

I was getting concerned if 550s were enough. Im talking to another guy with the same front mount and bolt ons. The only difference between our Mini's is he runs a Sprintex supercharger pushing close to 20psi, ECU master standalone and 630cc injectors. He has his injectors at 80% duty cycle running 11.1 AFR at WOT. Im running 18psi and I assume the TVS pushes a higher volume of air than the sprintex. I uninstalled the Voltage Clamp too so boost readings/inputs are accurate now.Do my fuel pressure readings look accurate? I wasnt sure if a fuel pump is required either.

The pump readings are within spec for the stock fuel pump.
And yes, you are just pushing the 380's beyond their limitations.
Personally I'd go straight to a set of 650's and call it a day. The price will be virtually the same as the 550's and they will give you some extra cushion.

I'm running 650's with 22psi and 7800 rpm with 85-90% duty cycle and able to hold AFR's down to 11.0 and below on pump gas. (93)

Thanks for sharing. Do you have a link to these 650s? I'm maxing out the 450's at the moment that I bought from RMW. I noticed Jan only has 450/550's for sale on his website. Only question I have is, will these 650's plug in with the harness adapters I used for the 450s?

Thanks

before you buy 650's check with your tuner first, setting up the dwell time and injector scaling takes time if it's an injector he has not tuned before

I definitely will. Jan at RMW is helping me with the tuning. He's been quite busy lately. I'm waiting for a response so we can discuss options and I can get the right parts on order. I'll try calling again in a few hours.

^^ This ^^
I got my 650's through my tuner, they were the largest that they were scaling at the time.
And that definitely matters.

Update:
Spoke with Jan about my fuel pressure test results. Purchased a new fuel pump and that should be arriving this Saturday/early next week. I'll share test drive results once installed. Also, in the coming months I'll be picking up another set of Wilwood 11.75" front rotors and 15x8 Konig Dekagram wheels. Still deciding what tire size I want to go with. Either 225/45R15 or 245/40R15. If anyone has experience with either of these I'd appreciate the feedback. I understand certain wheel/tire combos can offer faster lap times but I'm going for a mix of performance/lower costs. One of the reasons I love the Mini is the lower cost of wear and tear items. Sold a C5 Z06 to purchase/modify my Mini. To this day, still happy I made that decision. :-)

I run 225's on 15x8 and I'm happy with them, slicks have plenty of grip, 200tw could probably go to 245s though. I do knock the rear arches off, I tape them so they dont come off on track.

I run r56 aluminum rear arms, makes the rear tight
