R50/53 Coolant leak

[QUOTE=mrbean;4573972]That's a real head scratcher.
When you say it was acting funny can you be more specific?[/QUOTE
Random misfire and still driveable not as bad to trigger the check engine light .
I am suspecting water pump as I had some heating issues prior so I’m working on it now.
Working at -11 is no fun lol

Even though the CEL hasn't come on there could still be error codes. Give it a scan.
I don't think it's coming from the water pump. Even though it's connected to the SC, there's a sizeable air gap between the two - as well as an oil filled PTO.
I would also be curious if other areas of the intake have coolant in them (air filter box, the plastic tube between the TB and SC).

Keeping fingers crossed that my issue is solved .

My 2 cents.... The waterpump is not directly integrated with the super charger but driven by external linkage so it coolant is not coming directly from the cooling system. But I suspect that there is a coolant leak that is being drawn into the intake. Since you stated that the BPV valve is dry then the only place down stream that would be able draw in any coolant would be Super Charger input flange that is just below the water pump. If the water pump or hose is leaking and dripping on to that flange and it is not completely sealed the high vacuum would draw in the coolant. Any vacuum leak at that flange would also cause performance degrade.

Thanks for you input.Your 2cents worth like $200 !
