!!!!!!!!!!!! Check out this port job !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soon I will be getting my sprintex gen2 kit to go along with my 70mm throttlebody, 4-2-1 headers and now I MASSIVELY ported my sneed4speed intake manifold to go along with it all. I CANT wait to get my car back and put in all the new goodies I've been accumulating.. anyways , I opened up the ports ALOT to match the port size on my tpr2 head and on the intake side I took out those humps and rounded it out on the inside much much much more than it came..
this manifold comes ported already but not to my satisfaction. What you guys think , think it will help air flow better now that I smoothed out the intake side and rounded it out ? I couldn't believe the amount of material I removed. There was shavings EVERYWHERE ! I smoothed it out too but i wouldn't call it a polishing but darn close.. I spent probably 3 maybe 4 hours on this sucka just grinding away..
I highly suggest if you guys have off your stock intake to port it out atleast some as well as the horn that goes into it, you will see how much can be removed even if you just gasket match , I went abit more than gasket matching but I also then customized the gaskets. I had to go so large in order to port match tge intake to my head. And Im gonna need as less restriction as possible once I get and put on that sprintex gen2 kit.

lol it's gonna have a few extra hours and dollars into it in the end..I'm almost scared to add up all I've spent so far and how many hours I've put into it wrenching.. but every dollar spent has not been regretted and every hour worked has been fun.

NOOOOOO, don't add it up....
Remember the car builders motto....
"What does NEED have to do with anything"
This also applies to your wallet.....
Not to mention it's a hobby, like any other. You could have a $40,000 bass boat that you use 7 months of the year, in your driveway...
