Seat Rarity?

Hey all, I'm currently in pursuit of an R53. Had one several years back and I miss it. During my search I found a 2006 R53 with these seats -

It's the only one so far that I've seen with them. Are they pretty rare?

They are fairly rare because they were a pretty costly add on:

Not super duper rare though.

If someone ticked that box then the rest of the car is usually well-optioned as well.

$1700! You're not kidding. Funny that you showed the build for a Royal Grey Metallic as the one I'm looking at is a well. It has almost every option outside of the JCW kit unfortunately.

Finding a JCW can be a challenge in itself. Add RG (such a rich and beautiful color on the R53) adds to the difficulty, Add English Leather, and now you’ll need to reach down deep with patience. Add Anthracite headliner and now your in over your head lol. Find the right RG with JCW, worry about the seats last. I hunted those down (6 months of looking) and recently lost out to a local buyer for $700 in mint condition, So they’re out there. I’ve since put those, and a few other wants, further down my list. Minus the pleat design, I would assume same as stock sport seats. They definitely add some nice detail to the interior though.

I found a set of these at a junkyard for $125 each, but only bought the front seats, I've been kicking myself for not getting the back seat too... but they're nice, the leather seems thicker than the standard leather seats.

What a find! Definitely should have grabbed the back seats while you could.

The seat options get a little tricky, but I believe the pic is English Leather, They call them Lounge leather (top pic) in the gen2 and the bottom has more of a clam shape and more comfortable with more bolster under the leg. And different shape headrest. I myself like the English (bottom pic) and they are a bit harder to find.

Those actually aren't the park Lane seats. These are.
