Simple Valve Cover Question
I was installing an n7 heat blanket and of course did what everyone warns you not to do - I over tightened the bolt and cracked the valve cover.
So I have two questions:
1. How bad of a human being am I if I don't replace the cover? The cracks were small and epoxy seems to be working perfectly. I hate when things aren't perfect, but it seems like a hassle to replace if nothing bad is going to happen.
2. How is this plate (inside the red box) removed and reattached? The replacement valve cover I have doesn't have this on it.

Not sure about the first question, but the plate is normally stuck on with adhesive similar to double sided tape. If you can’t get it off or the plate gets damaged, replacements should be available from ECS: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...l/71220933608/
