02 sensors - nickel, aluminumn or copper anti seize?

I will be replacing my 02 sensors for the first time on my 104k mi, 2004 R53 (stock manifold & exhaust).
I usually apply anti seize where applicable, when reassembling new or used parts.

For some reason; I'm thinking copper anti seize (?) would be in order.

Anyone have any recommendations as whether to or not to use any of the above mentioned anti seize compounds with 02 sensors on the exhaust?

Thanks!

Every O2 sensor I've bought comes with anti-seize pre-applied to the threads.
On a few occasions, I've slathered on some extra. I typically use Permatex brand which is a blend of aluminum, copper, and graphite. It's never let me down.

Personally I never use cooper grease as it becomes rock solid over time. Especially in hot places. If I absolutely have to keep moisture out I use Lithium grease which has a much higher temp resistance.

But in all honesty, I have never replaced an o2 sensor so I'm curious about what others think.

I've always used copper. Manifold bolts too. It's noteworthy that, when o2 sensors include anti-sieze, it's generally copper as well. No issues.

Copper all the way.

Only just enough for the threads. In my day job I see a lot of DIYers slather antisieze all over the threads... and then some of it gets hot, drools down, and fouls the sensor, and the car comes to me. Just because it comes with a new tube doesn't mean you have to use it all One O2 sensor-provided tube usually lasts me five or six years, in a professional setting.

I have seen antiseize cause spark plug issues, too.

These are exactly the types of enriching conversations where my wife would just leave the room

My wife has conversations about yarn and knitting, which cause me to leave the room....or perhaps it's just a ploy

Haha. And yet she drives around in her car with perfectly anti-seized o2 sensors, thankless. I'll tell ya what.
