Chrono pack hijack!

I have an idea, similar to what is shown in
. The programming side, I plan to use a Pi Pico to capture all CAN data entering the gauge, and completely weed out all data related to oil. I would then like to simulate this data using an actual oil pressure sensor and temperature sensor. The code should not be a big concern, only questions I ask:

1) What thread size / pitch is the factory switch? Would this sensor fit?
2) What pressure does the factory switch activate at? 20psi?

Will update as this project goes on.

After doing a bit of research, it seems my best bet would be to utilize the drain bolt (M14x1.5) with the same sensor, and an adapter. Afterwards, finding the CAN ID of the oil temperature and pressure switch should be pretty easy with CAN Fuzzing.

Part number for the sensor is Bosch 0261230482. This part may be used on the 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder and the 2018 Mazda CX-5
