Linus is home!!!
I picked up LINUS yesterday and I think I giggled all the way home!!
I didn't have a name for my MINI Cooper Convertible until I drove it off the lot. The first song played in my MINI was Linus and Lucy (the Peanuts theme song) and Linus just stuck. I am actually a HUGE Charlie Brown fan, but the car just said I'm Linus and that's all there is too it!!
The whole transaction was fabulous! Lauderdale MINI was AMAZING too work with and I couldn't be happier. My husband and I flew from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale and then they picked us up at the airport. Actually, that was the one and only "issue", they got slammed at the dealership and we had to way a half an hour to get picked up.
The car had a SOLD sign and a bow on the dash . . . the bow was a GREAT touch!! The paperwork was sooooo easy -- I have never a car buying experience that went so quickly. The "looksee" and explanation phase with my MA (Crystal) went well -- everything looked and worked well. No probs there!
I still haven't taken any digital pics -- I'll get to that later today.
The car ride home was FANTASTIC!! The car is SO wonderful to drive!! We got tons of stares too!! I think I'm going to have to get used to that -- my car causes a lot of attention! Hello, it's a Chili Red MCC . . . it gonna turn some heads!!
I got some nice goodies too! We scored the key rings, two hats and a bulldog for my Mom. I kinda wished I also asked for the red canvas bag, but I didn't want to "push" it! (That's gonna drive me crazy -- I should have asked!)
I just couldn't wait to share -- I promise I'll post pics soon!!
