Strange problem: Window rolling down by itself?
In the past week, I have come out to my MINI and found the driver's window rolled down about 2-3 inches on a couple occasions.
I know they were rolled up, but today I have found that the morning thunder storms have soaked my interior! Argh!
Anyone elso have this happen?

I’ve read a few posts over the years about a few but never heard what the fix was. Try resetting the auto drop on the window and see if it helps.
Turn the ignition on to the ACC mode and hold both window switches in the up position 10 seconds each and it should reset the windows.
Let me know if it helps.

Window problem
I had the same thing happen to my 03 MCS. I had just driven through a big rain storm. Parked it on slight incline overnight. Came back the next morning and both windows had lowered about 3 inches. And it had also rained again. What a mess. Did the reset 10 sec reset. Seem to fix it. Then Six months later, the driver side door started going up and down about a inch repeatly will I was driving. Reset the windows again. And then took it to the dealer. They worked on the driver side door and reprogramed stuff(no charge) and no problems since. Curiuous, did you park yours on an incline?

Thanks for the great and useful replies, but I do not know what the "ACC Mode" is?
does that just mean turning the key but not starting the engine: the position where electrical power is on but not the engine?
As a result of the soaking, the buttons on the left side of my steering wheel stopped working. The cruise control light flashed and the stereo controls did not work
I turned on the heat full blast and closed all of the vents except for the one I could aim at the left side of the steering wheel. After 30 minutes, this dried out the switches and everything is working just fine.
Also, it seems that a soda must have spilled behind my driver's seat at some time because my mop rags have turned a dark coca-cola color! Yuk!
And yes, my driveway is on a slight incline, but I do park in a position where I am almost level. . . .

Stained seats.
If the seats are cloth; soak with club soda, a panel at a time,
to the seams. Pour it on your hand and work into the fabric.
Cover the spot with a white towel and allow it to soak for two
hours. Should remove the stain. I have tried this three times on
my grey space cloth seats and it works great, cheap too.

ACC mode = Accessory mode
ACC for short. (it used to say that above the appropriate position on the ignition keyhole on most cars)
