I recently saw three color combos for my future MCSC that I like. Which do you think looks the best:

Black/ Black Top Blue Leather Interior
Black/ Black Top Black Leather Interior
Black/ Black Top Sunset Interior (Orange / Blue)

Personal preference really. I like the classics because they stand the test of time, so my MCS is black on black. There is something to be said for originality though.

In the end if it were me I would choose same again, black on black. One humble opinion.

What is the sunset interior? I don't see it on the web site.

 

I personally like option #1. I think the Blue Leather interior would be a nice offset to the black exterior. I know a lot of people like the sunset interior - I'm not too crazy about it - but hey - it's all a personal choice - YOU will love whatever you pick...

Go to the MINIusa website and build a convertible (try orange)...you can pick the interior color and choose the one that shows the orange insets...that's the interior he's talking about...blue leather with orange insets...very nice

I think you can choose that option with other models...I've only done it with the 'vert though.

havent seen the blue/orange option to vote for or against it... so my vote is for the blue/black interior... the black would be very nice, but the blue would give some color to a monochromatic car :smile: good luck deciding!

 

I’m going out on a limb here, but how about you choose the interior color you want and don’t care what others think.

Or am I in dangerous territory for saying that.

 

I actually have a Dark Silver Exterior, Black Bonnet Stripes, Black Top, and Sunet Interior MCSC waiting at the docks in Southampton for the next vessel to California. Athough DS != Black, I would guess they would appear similar with the Sunset interior.

Anyway, it would appear that a dark coloured exterior with the Sunset interior is not very popular. After ordering my MINI, I received a call from my MA a few hours later confirming that I had indead wanted this combination (they had never seen it before). I later posted a message to MINI2 asking about this combination and got mixed responses about its aesthetics.

At any rate, just pick the combination you like and stick with it. Don't worry about what others think as the MINI is a very personal statement (and the black with the sunset will be very unique).

 

Thank you all very much for your opinions. I don't think I can go wrong with any of the three choices. BTW, I want the Anthocite (I think that's how you spell it) trim. Fun trying to make up your mind.....
