Oh, Donna and Mike! This is great news! sndwave and I were just at Brian Harris MINI in Baton Rouge on Friday and we LOVED the Hyper Blue color! Great choice! But remember, sndwave's EB/W '02 MCS is named "BLU MENE," so keep that in mind!

You're going to love the color-coded interior!! I saw an EB MCS the other day w/ a color-coded interior, and I fell in love!

As for a name, how about 'Phoenix'? (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Congrats on the choice! Hope to see you motoring around here soon! Good to see you this last weekend, both cars looked great!

If the car's pretty much on the boat already, have you had this thing planned for a while now, and decided not to tell us until much later?

Congrats, in any event!

So, does this mean that there'd be a Screamin' Chicken on the bonnet????

Nope - hasn't been planned for very long. Maybe whomever's car we are getting doesn't hang out here on NAM...

Perhaps when we get to California, we can get together and show off TWINS!!!! I love the choice! I love them so much, that our MINIVan #2 is almost the same. --- hmmm, we could wind up with sighting of each other's car --- Hugs, can wait to meet the new family member.

(However a little birdie told me you had it on order a few weeks ago, missy )

Hugs,
PB

Excellent choice - I love the growing number of two-MINI families here. . .

Oh, and FWIW, I love the suggestion of Phoenix as a name. 'Blue Phoenix' - very nice. . .
And I'll not make any jokes about Nomex car covers! <ducking>

You are correct - there was one on order for us that MINIUSA put into production for us which we turned down. This one was snagged from elsewhere....

Sounds like a sweet ride! Congrats. I love HB.

I also love the thought of a 2-MINI family. Perhaps one day when my kids are grown and off to college. Ahh, only 18 years to go!

Just 8 years for us till the kids are in college. . .and then we'll probably add a nice 2-seater convertible to the stable, but there'll ALWAYS be a MINI in our garage!

Okay - call me spoiled (or lucky) - but even when we had kids at home - I had my very own play car - always a rag top of some sort.....

I sold my S2000 just before we moved out here from VA in anticipation of the Cabrio.

Donna
02' CR/W MCS (gone to MINI heaven - burned up)
05' Cool Blue MCSC "Ariel"
05' HB MCS on it's way - no name yet
